The dome is composed of a triplex opaline glass diffuser, structured as a sandwich of glass layers, with the white layer inserted between two transparent ones that are blown together simultaneously. The thicknesses vary for each layer. The use of triplex opaline glass and the large size, which keeps the light source at a distance from the inner surface of the diffuser, allows for uniform, warm, and welcoming lighting, creating a pleasant atmosphere in the space.
