The concept by BIG combines with Artemide's optoelectronic expertise to define an innovative construction principle and provide a continuous and comfortable light. The system is controllable through the Artemide App to create freedom not only in designing geometries but also in defining dynamic performances, programmable or modifiable in real time.

KAOLIN a series of spotlights , designed by Philip Platino , are hand crafted in natural clays. The name comes from a white rock, one of the main ingredient in ceramics. The three different sizes are developed with AUREA proportion to add harmonic simplicity to the compostions. Each cylinder is finished by hand to add textured with a gracious spiralling effect. KAOLIN can be tinted in our various outdoor pigments.
